Tell ya what , that was a great review . and the first british racing green XE i've seen .
the engine sounds a bit dull to me . especially at the tips . except for the supercharger , that sounds great . i do like the piano black , it looks good enough to clean your hands maybe before each drive , or wear gloves , or just clean it regularly

For that price you will get the M4 cs BMW, I would wait for that. You could get a perfect BMW for have the price, as good as the Jaguar

The front look like a BMW M5
Nice car but maybe alil late to the show. I mean the design looks dated. It looks like a beamer, but for the price and performance its nice.
I have a c250 sport I chose it over this jag for one reason. I have to have a gear shift to rest my hand on I drove this car for 30min on a test drive and I just simply didn't know what to do with the Hans that I normally rest on the shifter.

Hi together, i'm from German, sorry for my bad english. I wait since 4 Months of my XE. Its only a 20D with 180 HP. At last Days in May he will comming….. It's a great car and with the same equipment cheaper as like the 3 big Germans. And you don't see so often in the streets. The Engine is very effektive and also the Insurance is cheaper as like Mercedes and co. I cant' find a argument against this car. Thanks for your Review so i can cut the time to wait for my car……
Love the car, but Jaguar needs a better interior design. They need some metal bits to break up the black. It should be more contemporary. Also, the paddle shifters should be magnesium, not cheap, flimsy plastic.

I have the XES since July and absolutely love it. This cars is a drivers car and just love driving this great car.
Jaguar is definitely the youthful choice now.
All the old people drive Mercedes and Audi's now, how times have changed!

How do you compare it to the Holden VF II SSV Redline?
Jags been brilliant in recent years I'm actually going in the opposite direction from the Germans. Each Range platform gets one variant of the FTYPE actually. The XE gets the base ftype engine ,the XF gets the more powerful v6,the new XJ will likely get the 550 hp r type engine whilst the Land rover will. likely get the svr 575 hp unit. The F type is now the "spiritual base" on which the entire range is based.
I must admit Jag have come a long long way in recent years particularly in design inside and out. All that said I still wouldn't plonk my money down on one.
I wonder how this compares to a BMW 340i with an M Sport package..
