just changed my tyres on my giulia quadrifoglio to Continental wintercontact T 830 and must say the grip on the road so far is superb
Hi man! I just a received my Giulia, in this case a Veloce Ti Q4. It comes with Bridgestone Potenza S001 RFT 225/40 R19 front, and 255/35 R19 rear. Now I bought Pirelli Sottozero 3, in the same measurements. I will mount it in the same rims (classico dark). I hope that it would be good:)
When the temps are low the sottos are awesome.!

I bought some of these tyres for my Quadrofoglio and the handling doesn’t feel great at all. Do the tyres need a bed in period ? Great vid by the way

A bit cheaper Merc C63. 🙂 Naaaaaah just kidding. Its really good that Alfa, but I am just not sure about the quality of that car! You don't want electrics of Japanese car and Italian mechanics! Design and the amount of the power are amazing really, but…that would be all. Nice vid man.
For Winter period Pirelli Sottozero are perfect👍👍
Now this makes a lot more sense for winter driving. However, unless you drive the car to Cortina I would suggest to forget about full blown winters and rather use a set of ultra high performance all weather like the Pilot Sport.

Enjoyed the vid, I put Conti Winters on mine which were also great. I also like the Pirelli’s as Summer tyres, the advantage of the two sets is you get peak performance when you want it and tyre wear is reduced – win win!

Nice Vid!!! You may have said and i have missed it but what are the seats like in the Giulia ? , they look pretty cool .
Stef, I remember the horrible time you had in the Abarth where you lost the splitter. Now winter tires aren't going to help that persay as your car was a snow shovel but you NEED winter tires when its 45 degrees and lower as the rubber stays pliable when it's cold and keeps you grippin'!

Great video, thanks for posting. I got my Quadrifoglio in late November 18 and TBH have only taken it out a few times “Rain, Salt, nah, wait until Spring”. Question to all, does the Michelin Pilot Sport work as an all year round tyre? Would much prefer not to have to buy another set of wheels and tyres just for the winter and keep swapping them if poss.

I fully agree with the use of winter tyres, put mine (Michelin Alpin 5) on in October and they will come off in March/April. Also cures the scrub you get with the Corsas. Great video, as always!
Been out in mine today -1c with mps4s and easily put the power down. I'm really on the fence with winters, if it's that bad I'll work at home 😉 Also not a fan of the Corsa's, too sticky and collected too many stones and horrendous knocking on full lock when cold.
